It shows juicy cherry on the nose along with deeper and more complex floral and spice cake characteristics. The palate repeats the cherry fruit on the palate on a delicate frame, while the substantive tannins hold on for a nice long finish. This pinot shows black pepper at the mid-palate and refined minerality on the finish.
